Travelling to Prague - Velka Pardubicka

Czech Republic - Prague Travel Requirements


Please read the following information carefully.


The Czech Republic is currently on the UK Amber List for travel and therefore, it is imperative that you read the government website for the latest information as the below may be subject to change at any time.


Racingbreaks.com can only reiterate information on the governments websites for both France and the UK, and act as a guide to how each individual should prepare for travel.

People who have been fully vaccinated


You will not need to take a test before travelling to the Czech Republic.


You will need to show proof of your vaccination status being completed depending on which vaccinations you had - this can be done via the NHS App (different to the NHS Covid App). Your Vaccination Pass will have a QR code with the details of the doses of the vaccination you will have had.


You will also need to fill in a Passenger Locator Form and present this upon arrival into the Czech Republic.



Please also be sure to check with your airline to ensure that any of their specific requirements are adhered to before your travel date.


Returning to the UK


As the Czech Republic is currently on the UK Amber Travel list, you will need to follow the Amber List rules for entering the UK on your return journey from the Czech Republic.


You must follow all three of the following steps before travelling to England:

  1. Take a Covid 19 test - this must be taken in the 3 days before you travel to England

  1. Book and Pay for a Covid 19 test to be taken after your arrival in England (Also known as a Day 2 Test). NHS tests do not meet this requirement and you must use a private provider which is to be paid for.

You must do these things whether you are fully vaccinated or not.

If you are fully vaccinated you must take a Covid 19 test on or before day 2.

When you arrive in England

If you are fully vaccinated

After you arrive in England you must take a COVID-19 test on or before day 2.

If you are not fully vaccinated

You must follow the following steps:

  1. Quarantine at home in the place you are staying for 10 days

  2. Take a Covid 19 test on or before day 2 and on or after day 8

Please visit the UK government website frequently before your travel date to keep informed about any changes to the above information and/or travel restrictions that may apply.
