About Cheltenham Festival
The Cheltenham Festival is the highlight of the National Hunt season that provides an unrivalled buzz as 250,000 people descend onto the beautiful Cotswold Hills over four days of scintillating action. Champions are decided, heroes are made, and reputations are left in ruins as the finest horses, jockeys, and trainers battle it out for the highest racing honours and nearly £4m of prize money.

Best Mate Enclosure
Best Mate might be the cheapest ticket choice but still offers a great atmosphere.
The enclosure is positioned opposite the main Grandstand, providing an excellent view of the racing, betting facilities, bars and a variety of food choices.
Party in the Pavilion acts as the enclosure's own live music venue during, with DJs & bands playing throughout the week. It's ideal for the novice racegoers who are eager to enjoy the atmosphere and get up close to the racing.
Access to the Parade Ring or additional entertainment such as the Shopping Village is not available from Best Mate.
Day by Day Guide
Day 1: Champion Day
Tuesday 14th March 2023
This is where The Festival starts!
The opening day of The Festival, known as Champion Day, is headlined by the Champion Hurdle, which has been won over the years by some of historys biggest names, the likes of Honeysuckle, Istabraq and Hurricane Fly. One of the most popular days, Champions Day is where the excitment begins as everyone is buzzing to be back!
Make sure you are there this time around to witness who'll be writing their name in the history books.

What to wear
There is no set dress code for The Festival but clients are asked to dress for the weather and take some inspiration from seasoned Festival Goers!
Fancy dress is permitted as long as the outfit is not offensive and the racecourse reserve the right to decline entry should the need arise.
Please note, fancy dress is not permitted in the Club enclosure.
Transfers
Experiences include return racecourse transfers which are included on everyday that you book to attend the racing.
Transfers depart your hotel with enough time to get to Cheltenham at gates opening, then depart around 45 minutes after the last race.
