About the Grand National

The Grand National is the most iconic race in the world and once again, in April 2021, the world will stop in its tracks as over 65,000 people at Aintree and 600 million people around the globe will tune in to see who will become the latest horse to be written into the history books alongside the likes of Red Rum, Foinavon and Aldaniti.

The Grand National is so much more than just a race; the elegance, anticipation and excitement that the crowd gives off come to symbolise the drama that unfolds around 2 circuits of the Liverpool track. The thrill of the big race is unbelievable when witnessed in person, and it seems that year after year, the excitement and quality of the event seems to grow.
